This week's recipe was chosen by Rachel of Confessions of a Tangerine Tart. I bow down to Rachel... I was so excited to make these that I actually made them last week along with the other cookies. My husband loves the Whopper candies and so I knew these would be a huge hit here at my house!
These were so soft and yummy, that even though I packaged up a few for friends, the majority stayed right here and were eaten up at lightening speed by all of us!
Next time I make these (and oh yes, I will be making these again) I want to try to use chocolate malt powder instead of original, and I won't chop up the whoppers as fine.
I love love loved these cookies!!!

we loved them too! they're even great straight from the freezer.
I agree - there will definitely be a next time for these cookies. Fabulous.
They look so yummy! I am interested to try them with chocolate malt powder too.
I loved them, too! The chocolate malt powder was a great addition. I also chopped the Whoppers in half, but I think next time, might try pressing a whole one on top of the cookies, as well!
These are better with bigger chunks of Whoppers, I think. Yours look delicious!
I love the staging of photo with the cookies mixed in with the Whoppers.
That's great that you and your family liked them so much. It's always nice when a new recipe is such a hit!!
Yours came out looking great! I agree, if I make them again, I won't chop up the whoppers as much. I would have liked the cookies bumpier!
I think I need to try them again..I wasn't a fan, but yours look way better than mine!
I'm glad you liked the cookies, they look wonderful!
Glad you loved, loved them! Though the friends you were going to send those cookies too must not be so happy with the fact that they were such a huge hit and that everybody loved them... haha
By the way, thanks for your comment on my blog :)
I loved this cookie recipe as well. I can't wait to make them again! Good job!
Aww, isn't it great when you come upon a new recipe that really rocks? And now you know how to make it even better! (I used chocolate ovaltine and dark chocolate cocoa and they were very intense).

Your photos are great! We loved them too!
I LOVE your blog! And the cakes you make are just darling! You're so talented! My husband is in the Army and my brother-in-law is a Marine, so the fact that you're a military spouse also makes me a big fan!
I wholeheartedly agree, these cookies were fabulous!
Aren't these cookies addictive?!! Glad to hear that you enjoyed them, and they look terrific in your photo.
